Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer - Product Development

At Raytheon, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Tewksbury, MA. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the sustainment of rugged military electronics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical equipment for use in military environments
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop design solutions and resolve technical challenges
  • Interface with suppliers to develop design solutions and resolve technical challenges
  • Meet commitments for assigned schedule, financial, and technical goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 3 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years designing and developing mechanical equipment for use in military environments
  • Experience with 3D CAD design tools and related product data management tools
  • S. government issued security clearance is required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in design, fabrication, and integration of electronic assemblies, shelter assemblies, power distribution equipment packaging, and rack system
  • Reliability or failure analysis experience
  • Experience using CREO CAD design and documentation tools
  • Familiarity with Configuration and Data Management
