Job Title: VP, Global Service Operations

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies that drive business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that support the company's overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the delivery of global field servicing and remote fleet monitoring, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality services to clients.
  • Drive operational efficiencies in terms of resource utilization and growth strategy.
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to develop strategy for new product roll-out and ensure service readiness.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service delivery performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds their expectations.
  • Partner with the senior leadership team to develop and implement long-term strategic plans that align with the company's vision and goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the services operations team.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of service delivery professionals.
  • Define KPIs, understand performance against these metrics, and be able to synthesize and simplify data to present to executives on short notice.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated track record in service delivery and operations management.
  • Significant experience in a global, multi-site distributed power generation environment.
  • Successful track record managing service delivery operations, optimizing processes, and driving performance improvements.
  • Strong attention to driving down service cost while delivering high-quality service.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing and implementing effective solutions.
  • Experience in setting up global service teams and partners for service delivery.

  • High EQ individual capable of impacting culture change from ad hoc start-up to process-oriented public company.
  • Comfortable initiating productive discussions in an environment with competing points of view.
  • Must be self-motivated with high energy level and a strong work ethic.

  • Inspires and engages leadership; comfortable with walking into team areas and engaging directly with all team members.
Education/Certifications:
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a technical discipline (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) or Operations Research.
  • Relevant practical experience will supersede a specific academic qualification.

Salary Ranges: $280,000.00 - $370,000.00
