About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Acme Hospitality Defunct. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and excellence in food quality.
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to achieve high levels of productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to develop and implement new menu concepts, promotions, and events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests receive a high-quality dining experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
