Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Pastry Sous Chef to oversee the daily operations of our pastry kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional desserts and pastries, as well as a strong leadership style to motivate and inspire our team.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement new dessert and pastry menus to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and delicious desserts and pastries.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensure high-quality food presentation and presentation standards.
  • Train and develop pastry team members to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
