Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to patients undergoing third-party reproduction, including egg donation and surrogacy. The Office Assistant IV will guide patients through the complex process, ensuring they understand their treatment options and coordinating communication between patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical services and support to department staff with limited oversight
  • Manage administrative tasks associated with third-party fertility treatments
  • Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers
  • Perform a wide range of office support assignments in accordance with well-defined instructions and guidelines
  • Responsible for patient registration, clinic scheduling, insurance, authorizations, referrals, and patient billing
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 3 years of directly related work experience, with hospital and/or medical experience highly desired
  • Previous work experience in fertility, reproductive health, or related medical field preferred
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to interact with families, staff, and peers based on the needs of the individual
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to conduct daily work with minimal daily supervision
  • Ability to function effectively as a team player
  • Ability to communicate effectively to achieve and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers
