Job Summary

The Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator—Assistant to help advance the health and well-being of individuals with kidney disease. This role will work directly with two principal investigators on clinical research projects related to kidney transplantation and hemodialysis treatment for kidney failure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate studies from start-up through close-out, ensuring compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage research project databases, develop flow sheets, and complete study documents/case report forms.
  • Collect and manage patient and laboratory data for clinical research projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Interact with research participants, sponsors, and regulatory agencies, providing excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Prepare regulatory submissions and ensure Institutional Review Board renewals are completed.

Requirements

  • Two-year college degree and two years related work experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of related education and relevant experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong interpersonal skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
