Your Role

We are in search of a Lead RF Systems Engineer to enhance our team and contribute to the growth of our mmW Cross Link division.

This role offers a distinctive opportunity to innovate cutting-edge technologies and collaborate closely with our clients to create multi-functional systems from inception to deployment, supporting vital defense initiatives.

Your responsibilities will encompass requirements development, architectural design, hardware integration, and implementation.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Engage directly with clients
  • Conduct comprehensive system-level analyses to derive and disseminate hardware requirements
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to design, construct, and evaluate hardware
  • Execute system-level verification and validation in advanced laboratory settings
  • Work together to devise innovative solutions to complex challenges
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including Business Development, Systems, Software, RF circuits, and FPGA design
  • Expertise in payload and electronics design for space applications, with knowledge of reliability and EMI/EMC standards for space systems
  • A robust analytical and mathematical background, with experience in system modeling, simulation, and analysis, including power and communication link budgets
  • A strong grasp of systems engineering analysis, including requirements definition, interface definitions, system test design, execution, and risk management
  • Proficiency in RF and systems design engineering tools such as MATLAB, ADS, HFSS, and Genesys
  • Experience working with government clients to establish system-level requirements and solutions
  • A solid background in system, software, or testing, including design and implementation
  • Demonstrated technical leadership

Applicants should have a minimum of 8 years of Systems Engineering experience with a Master's degree, or 12 years with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.

U.S. Citizenship is mandatory, and candidates must be eligible to obtain a United States Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% is expected.

Additional Skills That Will Benefit You

Understanding model-based systems engineering techniques, including proficiency with MBSE software like Cameo, is advantageous.
Experience with satellite mission operations, including launch, in-orbit testing, and anomaly resolution, is beneficial.
Familiarity with key mission design and analysis tools such as STK is a plus.
Experience in guiding a product from concept through prototyping, launch, and operation is valued.
Proven leadership in space systems engineering teams is desirable.
The ability to lead trade studies and architect innovative solutions to challenging technical issues is essential.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $152,000 to $265,200 annually. Compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Additional cash or stock incentives may be included in the compensation package, along with a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
