Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage transportation engineering projects, including planning, design, and construction phases.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
  • Manage and supervise project teams, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Valid Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience working on transportation projects in Arizona, with a focus on municipal transportation projects.
  • Knowledge of municipal transportation systems, including transportation planning, design, and operations.
  • Experience with project management software, including Microsoft Project.
  • Certifications in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
