Job Summary:

The Lead Shared Services Coordinator will provide administrative and accounting support for the Organic Trading domestic business. This role will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and accounting support to the business, including payment/invoice processing, accounts receivable/collection follow-up, and business support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase/Sales Settlement Processing: The Lead Shared Services Coordinator will be responsible for processing purchase and sales settlements, including ticket entry and contract application.
  • Farmer Payment Processing: The Lead Shared Services Coordinator will be responsible for processing farmer payments, including payment processing and reconciliation.
  • Accounting for Inventory Locations: The Lead Shared Services Coordinator will be responsible for accounting for inventory locations, including ticket entry, settlement processing, and reconciliation of inventory.
  • Review/Correction of Ticket Interface Issues: The Lead Shared Services Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing and correcting ticket interface issues.
  • Work with Merchandisers and Scheduling Planners: The Lead Shared Services Coordinator will work with merchandisers and scheduling planners to investigate load order discrepancies.
  • Assist with Research and Resolution of Past Due Accounts Receivable: The Lead Shared Services Coordinator will assist with researching and resolving past due accounts receivable.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; AA Degree in Accounting or course work in accounting preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of related business experience.
  • Skills: Understanding of standard software applications; excellent office, customer service, and written and oral communication skills; strong math and analytical skills.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:

  • Position: Mostly sedentary, but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  • Physical Requirements: May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another; may need to access files, supplies, and equipment.
