Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute effective sales strategies and plans to meet sales objectives within your designated territory. Identify new business prospects and market trends, leveraging them to drive revenue growth. Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring diligent follow-up and successful closure of sales opportunities. Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to maintain a competitive edge. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing distributors and key clients. Understand customer requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver solutions that meet their needs. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Generate regular sales reports detailing sales activities, customer feedback, and market trend analyses. Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the annual budgeting process. Industry Knowledge and Product Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies relevant to our product offerings. Develop a comprehensive understanding of Copeland's product portfolio. Product Presentations: Conduct engaging product presentations and demonstrations to clients, highlighting the value proposition of Copeland's offerings.

You demonstrate resourcefulness and resilience in balancing the goals of various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in industrial sales. Relevant years of proven experience in the industrial sector commensurate with the level of this position. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish rapport, build trust, and close deals. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Technical proficiency with the ability to understand and troubleshoot technical issues. Capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. Valid driver's license. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory. Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

Several years of experience in the industrial sector. Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business, or a related field. Knowledge or experience in fluid power. Proficiency in CRM software and sales-related tools.
