We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Travel Sales Manager to join our team at Hyatt Centric Memphis. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Revenue Growth: Establish and maintain relationships with key corporate and leisure accounts to drive transient room revenue growth.
- Account Management: Manage and grow existing complex accounts, including national and local accounts, to increase sales and revenue.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts, including phone calls, outside sales calls, and attendance at industry events.
- Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Prepare and present effective proposals and negotiate contracts to meet hotel business plan objectives.
- Client Entertainment and FAMs: Organize and participate in client entertainment, FAMs, and special promotions to build relationships and drive sales.
- Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records and reports to track account production and sales performance.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hotel sales experience, specifically in business travel and group sales.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GDS/Consortia, Entertainment, and Tour & Travel related transient markets, as well as proficiency in general computer knowledge and Hyatt systems.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in hospitality or business management, or equivalent hands-on experience.
