Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Patient Experience Representative to provide exceptional customer service and support to our patients and families. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all who interact with our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide positive and effective customer service to patients, families, and visitors
  • Collaborate with referring providers and practices to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Obtain required authorizations and compile patient and staff schedules
  • Schedule patients and support the patient encounter process
  • Reconcile payments and prepare deposits, providing accurate records of transactions
  • Facilitate and direct communication with Financial Counseling
  • Provide routine clerical support as needed
Requirements
  • A high school level of education, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathy in difficult situations
  • Ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies
