Position Overview:

Dairy Tech LLC, a company based in Windsor, specializes in providing calf management solutions for dairy and beef producers. We are seeking a new team member to support the production and assembly of our pasteurizer systems. This role will also involve general warehouse responsibilities, including selecting items from inventory and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly tasks and be comfortable using hand tools.

The successful applicant will collaborate closely with our current production team to swiftly grasp the operational aspects of our pasteurizer systems. This role requires both independent and collaborative skills to fulfill daily job demands. Daily tasks may include assembly work, machine maintenance and troubleshooting, customer service interactions, and order processing in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate within a team to complete machine assembly and repairs.
  • Assist with service calls, primarily troubleshooting via phone.
  • Handle warehouse tasks, including fulfilling customer orders, product selection, and packaging for shipment.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe production area and warehouse.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with at least two (2) years of experience in production or assembly.
  • General aptitude for accurate order fulfillment.
  • Strong logical reasoning and intermediate math skills.
  • Competence in customer service, problem-solving, and effective communication.
  • Ability to meet daily and weekly production targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
  • Capacity to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with electrical component assembly.
  • Warehouse experience preferred, including forklift operation.

The potential compensation range for this position is provided below. The final offer may exceed this range based on various factors such as geographical labor market, experience, and skills.
