Job Summary

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, and for identifying and implementing improvements to our quality control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks on products and materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Defect Identification and Resolution: Identify defects and non-conformities in products and materials, and work with production teams to resolve these issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, and prepare reports on quality performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production teams, quality engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on quality-related issues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus four years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds, and to stand for long periods of time.
Work Environment

Vestas is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be working in a production environment, and will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

Shifts Available

Mon-Thurs Days: 6am-4:30pm - 4/10hr shifts

Mon-Thurs Nights: 6pm-4:30am - 4/10hr shifts

Pay range: $ hourly
