Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Industrial Engineer to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining the Labor Management System (LMS) across our regional distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to site teams on the operation and sustainability of the LMS.
  • Assist in the growth and evolution of the LMS through the Quarterly Standard Review Process.
  • Contribute to the development of new functions and upgrades to the LMS.
  • Support the creation and leveraging of Preferred Work Methods and Engineering Labor Standards for DSC operational processes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in DSC operations using Engineered data, time studies, observations, and historical performance.
  • Develop and leverage training documentation for all levels of DSC site teams.
  • Lead strategic CI projects related to the LMS at regional DSCs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on the LMS and Industrial Engineering for regional site teams.
  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to develop reporting and analytical tools.
  • Steer the Data Analytics team in gathering quality data and conclusions for engineering work.
  • Work with the IT-AWCS teams to develop, grow, and troubleshoot tools related to the LMS.
  • Provide front-line support and troubleshooting for LMS end-user tools.
  • Contribute to strategic projects in the realm of the LMS and Engineering.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and information in Industrial Engineering in the logistics space.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must have a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering.
  • Must have at least one year of experience working with a manufacturing or distribution facility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have an Industrial Engineering degree.
  • Have at least two years of work experience in manufacturing, engineering, or operations.
  • Have at least two years of experience with Tableau.
