Job Summary:

Polyglass U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful development and implementation of projects related to process improvements, facility building upgrades, and related safety improvements at our plant level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project completion.
  • Manage and coordinate with contractors and outside vendors to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project specifications and scope of work documents.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage and maintain project records, including budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance plant operations, quality initiatives, and employee quality of work environment.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to plant personnel on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in leading capital projects, with a focus on electrical systems.
  • Proven track record of successful project management with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
  • Technical experience with industrial controls, VFDs, and servo drives, as well as high, medium, and low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Programming and advanced troubleshooting of PLCs, SCADA development, support, and implementation, and networking/data communications.
