Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Customer Service Representative to join our team at HealthCare Support. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of patient accounts, resolving billing and insurance-related issues, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Ensure timely reprocessing of claims by updating accounts with new information from patients or physicians, adhering to guidelines and timeframes set by insurance carriers.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Maintain thorough knowledge of HIPAA guidelines to safeguard patient information from unauthorized access.
  • Payment Processing: Process and post payments to accounts on the same day they are received.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 6+ months of medical billing experience.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance experience.
  • Coding Knowledge: CPT knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EMR Experience: Athena EMR experience.
  • Billing System Knowledge: XIFIN billing system.
  • Education: Associate's degree in a related field.

Compensation
