Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with a variety of services, including answering questions, resolving issues, and providing information on utility services.
- Process payments, complete billing adjustments, and maintain accurate records.
- Interact with customers via phone, email, and in-person, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Assist with daily accounting tasks, including calculating, billing, and balancing revenues.
- Process and issue various types of documents, including public records requests, permits, and licenses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
- Provide support to other departments and teams as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years of clerical and customer service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of reporting and record-keeping principles and techniques.
- Ability to learn and follow Federal, State, City, and Department laws, regulations, compliance, policies, and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background verification.
