This position requires a proactive approach to collect monies owed, ensuring timely payments and minimizing financial risks. Key responsibilities include making collection calls, logging correspondence, and following up on deductions. The AR Specialist will also prepare weekly/monthly customer statements, work with the Sales team to collect late payments, and identify and resolve short payments/deductions/overpayments. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of accounting or a related discipline, equivalent to a 2-year college education or comparable experiential learning. A minimum of three years' experience in Accounts Receivable is required, along with proficiency in Adobe applications, Microsoft Office, and intermediate Excel skills. The work environment is a general office setting and standard laboratory environment.
