Director, Strategy & Business Development - OptiFreight

At Cardinal Health, we're seeking a seasoned professional to drive business growth and strategy for our OptiFreight division. As a Director, Strategy & Business Development, you'll be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to maximize growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own business development for OptiFreight, identifying new service, channel, and/or carrier expansion opportunities in alignment with business strategies and customer needs.
  • Perform market and competitive analysis, supporting strategic recommendations with data and focused market insights within healthcare and the broader supply chain/logistics industry.
  • Anticipate and build alignment around growth drivers, macro trends, customer dynamics, and competitive environment.
  • Proactively monitor, track, interpret, and share industry, competitive, and innovation trends.
  • Translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, and recommendations to inform future business strategies and longer-term investments.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of related work experience in healthcare, consulting, strategy, business development, R&D, and/or supply chain, logistics strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Results-driven, proven ability to perform and take initiative without direct oversight and work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
What We Offer:
  • Anticipated base salary range: $114,700 - $185,000
