Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Business Development. This individual will be responsible for leading the business planning process, developing and implementing strategic channel planning, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic channel planning to drive sales growth
- Lead the business planning process, including creating alignment on volume and spending objectives
- Work closely with the Sales Lead to develop and implement sales strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Provide proactive diagnosis and recommendations to clients on multi-channel development and strategic channel planning
- Assist with client sales strategies, including development, analysis, and implementation of sales objectives
- Develop clear and actionable priorities and plans for sales strategy execution
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in new business
- Extensive knowledge of natural and grocery channel retailers
- Broker management experience
- Manufacturer/CPG experience
- Working knowledge of distributor network
- Highly proficient in supermarket math
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What We Offer
