Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Business Development. This individual will be responsible for leading the business planning process, developing and implementing strategic channel planning, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic channel planning to drive sales growth
  • Lead the business planning process, including creating alignment on volume and spending objectives
  • Work closely with the Sales Lead to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Provide proactive diagnosis and recommendations to clients on multi-channel development and strategic channel planning
  • Assist with client sales strategies, including development, analysis, and implementation of sales objectives
  • Develop clear and actionable priorities and plans for sales strategy execution

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in new business
  • Extensive knowledge of natural and grocery channel retailers
  • Broker management experience
  • Manufacturer/CPG experience
  • Working knowledge of distributor network
  • Highly proficient in supermarket math
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
