About the Role

Gable Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling Density, Viscosity, and Refractometry measurement instruments to clients in the Southern Texas region, with a focus on the Houston area.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sales of capital equipment or analytical instruments and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities. A Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Identify and cultivate new accounts while effectively managing existing ones to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Presentation and Sales: Deliver presentations to various audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians, to showcase the benefits of our measurement instruments.
  • Opportunity Evaluation and Deal Securing: Evaluate opportunities, create proposals, and secure deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior experience in sales of capital equipment or analytical instruments is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Autonomy and Focus: Capability to work autonomously with a dedicated focus on customer success.
  • Education: Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently overnight, up to more than 50% of the time.
  • Driver's License and Passport: Must possess a valid driver's license and a passport.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: The base salary for this position ranges from $71,000 to $79,000 per year and is dependent on your experience in capital equipment sales.
  • Unlimited Commission: The commission structure is unlimited, starting from the first dollar, and includes bonuses for achieving or surpassing targets.
  • Benefits Package: Additional benefits include a monthly car allowance, full benefits package, profit-sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 milestone bonus every five years.
