POSITION OVERVIEW
The Emergency Care Communications Specialist (ECCS) plays a crucial role in managing all EMS communications for the Emergency Care Center, including the activation of specialized response teams such as trauma, stroke, burn, and STEMI across the healthcare network. This role is under the supervision of the EMS Liaison Manager and does not oversee any other personnel.

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Valid Paramedic certification in Georgia is mandatory
  • Must possess and maintain an American Heart Association - Healthcare Provider card for Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in paramedic or EMS roles
