Job Summary
Grady Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Paramedic Lead. As a key member of our Emergency Medicine team, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care in the pre-hospital environment, ensuring the readiness of assigned emergency vehicles, equipment, and shift personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care in accordance with established medical protocols.
- Ensure the readiness of assigned emergency vehicles, equipment, and shift personnel.
- Coordinate with Fleet Services and Deployment to ensure accurate asset allocation and inventory availability.
- Assume field and/or shift command for decision making in the absence of the District Manager.
- Collaborate with Staff Development Managers for assigned new hires and academy interns.
- Act as a role model for current and new staff members, providing open communication and enhancing engagement throughout the assigned shifts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two years Paramedic experience in 911 system preferred.
- Active Georgia Paramedic License.
- Current driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle report insurable by the department at the standard rate.
- Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS.
