SUMMARY
The Emergency Care Communications Specialist (ECCS) plays a crucial role in managing all emergency medical services (EMS) communications for the Emergency Care Center. This position is responsible for the coordination and activation of specialized response teams, including trauma, stroke, burn, and STEMI, throughout the healthcare system. The ECCS reports directly to the EMS Liaison Manager and does not oversee any other personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Active Paramedic certification in Georgia is mandatory
- Must possess and maintain an American Heart Association - Healthcare Provider card for Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in paramedic or EMS roles
