Crisis Services Team Lead Job Description

Job Summary:

The Crisis Services Team Lead is a critical role within the Helen Ross McNabb Center, responsible for overseeing the Crisis Services program. This position requires a Master's degree in a health-related field, with experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or co-occurring diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to designated employees, ensuring the delivery of high-quality crisis services.
  • Develop and implement effective crisis intervention strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and families to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct face-to-face crisis assessments, determining the level of service needed and facilitating referrals to appropriate resources.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client care, in compliance with CARF and funder standards.
  • Participate in administrative tasks, including reports, scheduling, and training.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, ensuring a strong network of support for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the program remains compliant and effective.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a health-related field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or co-occurring diagnoses.
  • Strong leadership and supervision skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent community involvement, with the ability to work in a variety of settings, including in-person assessments and telehealth. The Crisis Services Team Lead must be able to maintain professionalism at all times, while ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

Compensation:

The starting salary for this position is approximately $59,547 per year, based on relevant experience and education.
