Key Responsibilities- Provide routine nursing care for clients, including vital sign checks, wound care, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and emotional needs.
- Develop and maintain accurate and complete health care records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in crisis intervention and mental health care.
- Work collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Document all interactions with clients, including progress notes, medication administration records, and incident reports.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of care.
- Current LPN license in Tennessee.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and clinical skills.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience working in a crisis intervention setting or mental health care.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications, diagnoses, treatment modalities, and interventions.
- Ability to use computer and electronic medical record systems.
