About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Crisis Services Nurse to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center. As a Crisis Services Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in crisis, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct medical care to clients in crisis settings, residential settings, or case management roles.
  • Work collaboratively with the Crisis Services RN Coordinator to ensure all shifts are covered, including overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Assist with crisis interventions, medical emergencies, and client discharge planning.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • LPN or RN degree with a current/valid Tennessee license.
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing and acute care preferred.
  • Ability to present professionally, work within a team format, and exercise sound clinical judgment under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) preferred.
