Role Overview:

As our inaugural Program Management Specialist at Hashtagweb3, you will play a pivotal role in steering the successful implementation of our Zero Knowledge Proof Acceleration initiatives while also having the opportunity to establish and refine the program management function from the ground up. Your contributions will significantly influence the trajectory of our organization.

You will collaborate closely with our founding team to guarantee the timely delivery of superior solutions. This position demands adeptness in navigating intricate technical challenges within a swiftly changing landscape, alongside a proactive approach to program management—actively identifying issues and working hand-in-hand with engineering teams to devise solutions.

Candidate Profile:

You are a hands-on program management leader with a proven track record of delivering results in dynamic environments. While you may not possess an in-depth understanding of our technology stack from the outset, prior experience working with highly technical teams is essential. You are a problem solver who thrives on assisting organizations in overcoming complex challenges related to technical execution and strategy. If you excel at transforming chaos into structured progress, we are eager to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of our technical projects. Ensure that all key stakeholders comprehend product specifications and facilitate cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks by proactively addressing issues, dependencies, and challenges.
  • Timeline and Resource Planning: Develop and maintain project timelines, resource allocations, and milestones. Monitor progress and collaborate with leadership to adjust plans as necessary to achieve project goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders, including leadership and external partners, on project status, advancements, and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Prior professional experience as a software engineer (either in a professional or academic setting, with readiness to discuss this during the interview).
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics from a rigorous academic institution.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager working directly with engineering teams.
  • Extensive experience with agile methodologies and tools, with the ability to discuss this experience in detail during the interview while remaining adaptable to our unique environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading projects, taking ownership, and achieving results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to leverage data for informed decision-making.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in both established tech companies and startup environments.
  • Familiarity with Zero Knowledge Proof concepts and cryptographic principles.

Location:

We are looking for candidates located within the USA East Coast and Central Europe time zones. While we operate as a globally distributed company, it is crucial for our leadership team to work within cohesive time zones to meet our objectives.
