Key Responsibilities
- Execute maintenance tasks, including electrical work, plumbing, drywall repairs, appliance servicing, enhancements, and various other maintenance responsibilities.
- Prepare vacant units for new tenants.
- Conduct snow removal for accumulations of 2 inches or less.
- Maintain the property grounds by collecting litter, managing waste receptacles, and performing weekly weeding.
- Carry out inspections of the property and tenant units alongside Site Managers and/or Regional Managers.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
Position Overview
The Maintenance & Grounds Technician plays a vital role in supporting the Site Manager with all tasks necessary for the effective management of our apartment and townhome communities. This position is responsible for the upkeep of both the interior and exterior of these properties. Additionally, the technician must ensure that all appliances, heating and cooling systems, and lighting fixtures are functioning properly.
Successful Candidates Will Possess:
- Experience in customer service.
- Background in remodeling or construction.
- Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Independence and focus on task completion.
- A commitment to achieving success.
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Qualifications
- Possession of necessary hand tools for job duties.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- A valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and automobile insurance are required.
