About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform DevOps Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of our cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Develop and maintain automated build, integration, and deployment pipelines to ensure efficient and scalable infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust platform solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Integrate security and compliance into the platform using services such as encryption and access management.
  • Provide operational support for the platform and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++.
  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent).
  • A U.S. government TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible and Chef.
  • Experience with scanning tools such as Nessus and Fortify.
  • Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience with compute, networks, storage, and virtualization.
  • Experience developing, testing, and delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework.
