Opportunity Overview:

As a GCP DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate within an Agile team to develop healthcare applications and integrate new functionalities while upholding the highest coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, manage, and maintain cloud-based infrastructures.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP combined with either Angular or .NET is essential.
  • Assist in the design and migration of existing applications to GCP, including planning, provisioning, deploying, and maintaining cloud environments.
  • Monitor security, performance, and costs proactively, responding to alerts and collaborating with development and service delivery teams to resolve issues.
  • Support cloud deployments, ensuring optimal system performance and maintaining uptime standards.
  • Implement security measures for cloud resources, including access controls and encryption, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet application and infrastructure needs.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, document problems, and implement preventive measures.
  • Utilize knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend and document architectural elements, including compute and storage components.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in cloud environments to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within designated timeframes, deploying and configuring cloud environments according to best practices.

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years in relevant fields.

Educational Background:

  • Engineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
  • Technical certifications in multiple technologies are preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions in GCP Cloud; AWS and Azure experience is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud Administration and management of GCP.
  • Experience in migrating on-premises applications to the Cloud.
  • 3+ years of collaboration with application development, maintenance, and release management teams.
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, and automated pipelines.
  • 3+ years of proficiency with containerization tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing virtual networks and general network functions.
  • 3+ years of driving architectural and design decisions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with at least two programming or scripting languages.
  • 3+ years of cloud database management experience and knowledge of various GCP database offerings.
  • 5+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), build, and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of the six pillars of a well-architected framework.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and inspire confidence in peers and colleagues.

Preferred Skills:

  • Cloud certifications related to Cloud Engineer and Cloud Architect.
  • Application development experience with Angular, JavaScript, and Java.
