Your Role:

As a GCP DevOps Engineer, you will integrate into an Agile team focused on developing healthcare applications and implementing advanced features while upholding superior coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, manage, and maintain cloud-based infrastructures.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP combined with either Angular or .NET is essential.
  • Assist in the design and migration of existing applications to GCP.
  • Plan, provision, deploy, and sustain a cloud solution environment.
  • Monitor security, performance, and costs proactively, addressing alerts and collaborating with development and service delivery teams for resolution.
  • Support cloud deployments, ensuring optimal system performance and uptime for users.
  • Implement security measures for cloud resources, including access controls and encryption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet application and infrastructure needs.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
  • Apply knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices to recommend architectural elements, including compute and storage components.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in cloud environments.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within designated timeframes.
  • Deploy and configure cloud environments following best practices and security protocols.
  • Stay updated on the latest GCP offerings and provide recommendations to leadership.

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years in relevant roles.

Educational Background:

  • Engineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
  • Technical certifications in multiple technologies are advantageous.

Essential Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and implementing GCP solutions; AWS and Azure experience is a plus.
  • 3+ years of cloud administration and management on GCP.
  • Experience in migrating on-premises applications to the cloud.
  • 3+ years working with application development and release management teams.
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • 3+ years of experience with Source Code Management (SCM) and CI/CD platforms.
  • 3+ years of proficiency in containerization tools, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 3+ years of experience in network management functions.
  • 3+ years of driving architectural and design decisions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with at least two programming or scripting languages.
  • 3+ years of cloud database management skills with knowledge of GCP database offerings.
  • 5+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Understanding of the six pillars of a well-architected framework.
  • Familiarity with GCP technologies such as GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and inspire confidence in peers.

Desirable Skills:

  • Cloud certifications in Cloud Engineering and Cloud Architecture.
  • Application development experience with Angular and JavaScript.
