About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead a high-impact project aimed at overhauling a tax software system. This is a critical role where you will manage the project from start to finish, ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Oversee the project schedule and timeline for a three-phase tax software implementation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ensure all cross-functional teams are aligned and working towards project milestones, and provide regular status updates to executives and leadership.
  • Vendor Management: Partner with the Vendor Project Manager to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Project Planning and Organization: Manage the project plan in Jira, capturing all work down to the task level and user stories/epics.
  • Relationship Building: Utilize your exceptional communication and soft skills to form strong relationships and build trust quickly.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience managing multi-phase software implementation projects.
  • Expertise: Proven track record with enterprise software implementations and high-visibility projects.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with experience working with senior leadership up to the VP level.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Jira and experience with SAP (SAP ECC, FICO, Finance, or Tax preferred).
  • Leadership: Strong ownership mentality, confidence to speak up, and the ability to share concerns proactively.
