Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our team at Quantinuum. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing existing facilities, driving standardization across our sites, and overseeing all aspects of site operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Lead and manage all operational activities at the site, developing and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
  • Collaboration and Team Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, physicists, engineering, procurement, and finance, to coordinate activities and achieve site and company objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track site performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive initiatives to meet or exceed targets.
  • Process Improvement and Lean Principles: Implement process improvements and lean principles to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Financial Management: Manage the site's budget, including forecasting expenses, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities for savings.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure timely, accurate, and concise reporting of operational metrics, financial performance, and project status to senior management.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to best practices.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 4+ years' experience in program management, process engineering, facilities, or leadership role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree: Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of the organization.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-Motivation and Ownership: Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of issues and seek team participation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: $152,000 - $184,000 a year.
