PROPÓSITO DEL PUESTO


El Supervisor de Operaciones Financieras es responsable de la gestión diaria de las funciones del libro mayor general y de los activos fijos dentro del departamento contable.

El rol (i) proporciona liderazgo diario a los empleados del departamento, (ii) asegura que el trabajo se complete dentro de los plazos establecidos, y (iii) actúa como recurso para otros en todo el departamento contable.

Esta clasificación de trabajo requiere un conocimiento profundo de las operaciones y sistemas departamentales, la capacidad de cumplir con los plazos y supervisar eficazmente al personal asignado.


FUNCIONES ESENCIALES DEL TRABAJO Y DEBERES BÁSICOS
1) *Planifica, gestiona y organiza todas las funciones del libro mayor general para la empresa y las funciones de activos fijos y arrendamientos;

2) *Revisa el trabajo preparado para asegurar calidad y precisión; garantiza que el trabajo se complete dentro de los plazos establecidos.

3) *Revisa y analiza informes y asientos contables generados dentro del departamento. Identifica y explica las variaciones del período.

4) *Supervisa el proceso de cierre del período fiscal y asegura que todos los informes se completen de manera precisa y oportuna.

5) *Anticipa y prevé desafíos contables y/o comerciales e implementa acciones correctivas preventivas.

6) *Realiza procesos contables complejos, establece y mantiene rastros de auditoría, y apoya el proceso de auditoría de estados financieros de fin de año.

7) *Recomienda, diseña e implementa mejoras continuas en los procesos contables. Se esfuerza por la mejora continua, la innovación y la reducción de costos.

8) *Trabaja de manera transversal con la alta dirección en proyectos financieros y especiales.

9) *Aplica conocimientos de métodos contables a las operaciones del equipo y desarrolla y mantiene procedimientos documentados actualizados. Desarrolla nuevos procedimientos para satisfacer necesidades especiales.

10) *Responde a consultas de clientes, gerencia, proveedores y otros; responde preguntas, proporciona documentos, explica procedimientos, interpreta políticas, resuelve discrepancias y problemas complejos, y asegura la resolución de todos los problemas de manera precisa y oportuna.

11) *Asiste a una variedad de reuniones de gestión; realiza presentaciones a la dirección y conduce reuniones de personal de manera regular.

12) *Proporciona liderazgo que representa los valores de la empresa y sus rasgos de liderazgo para inspirar y empoderar al equipo.

CALIFICACIONES MÍNIMAS

EDUCACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA:

  • Título universitario en Contabilidad (preferiblemente MAcc) y un mínimo de cinco (5) años de experiencia laboral relacionada o una combinación equivalente de educación y experiencia. Se requiere experiencia previa en gestión.

REQUERIDO

CONOCIMIENTO:

  • Conocimiento avanzado de prácticas contables generales a complejas, métodos y procedimientos.
  • Capacidad para supervisar y desarrollar eficazmente al personal asignado.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en sistemas contables/ERP complejos (preferiblemente SAP).
  • Sólido entendimiento de la contabilidad de arrendamientos (ASC 842).
  • Conocimiento avanzado de aplicaciones de MS Office, incluyendo Excel, Word y PowerPoint.
HABILIDADES/

ABILIDADES:

  • Capacidad para capacitar a los empleados del departamento en prácticas y procedimientos contables adecuados.
  • Capacidad para gestionar proyectos contables especiales, incluyendo (cuando sea necesario) trabajar de manera transversal con otros departamentos.
  • Capacidad para realizar cálculos matemáticos, incluyendo suma, multiplicación, resta y división.
  • Capacidad para completar el trabajo de manera precisa y oportuna.
  • Capacidad para comunicarse de manera efectiva (tanto verbalmente como por escrito) y mantener relaciones laborales efectivas.
  • Buenas habilidades de servicio al cliente.
  • Habilidades organizativas, de resolución de problemas y analíticas demostradas.
