Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our team at Aramark. This role will operate during the evening shift, typically from 2pm to 11pm.

The Facilities Operations Supervisor will oversee cleaning operations and manage, train, and guide the cleaning staff. This position reports to the Senior Facilities Manager or Facility Director, assisting in meeting objectives and fulfilling client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees cleaning and maintenance operations
  • Maintains open communication and addresses the needs of department heads and directors, as well as other client stakeholders
  • Conducts facility inspections to ensure adherence to quality management standards in cleaning and maintenance
  • Analyzes job requests and specifications to determine necessary materials and labor for project completion, coordinating the activities of cleaning personnel to optimize the use of staff, materials, and equipment
  • Ensures compliance with Aramark's operational standards, the Business Conduct Policy, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Maintains all necessary records and reports as mandated by regulations and codes
  • Understands departmental expenditures, including supply needs and labor costs, to adhere to budgetary constraints

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in cleaning operations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding the primary language, with effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Knowledge of equipment related to cleaning operations is required
  • Strong listening, interpersonal, computer, and leadership skills are essential
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics and apply basic math functions
  • Capable of performing well under time constraints
  • Must maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude towards clients, customers, and colleagues
  • Adaptable to the needs of customers
This position may involve physical demands, including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
