Position: Revenue Analyst

Role Summary

The Revenue Analyst is accountable for driving revenue performance for Grand Beach Suites Hotel. This role focuses on generating revenue-producing opportunities to achieve the financial objectives of our establishment. Responsibilities include managing distribution channels and revenue management systems, as well as preparing analytical reports to support weekly Revenue Management Strategy Meetings. The position reports directly to the Revenue Manager. We are seeking candidates with strong analytical skills, reporting capabilities, and a solid understanding of hospitality operations to enhance our Revenue Strategy, aiming to maximize both revenue and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Hospitality preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the hospitality sector
  • Prior experience in Revenue Management
  • Ability to utilize multiple systems concurrently
  • Familiarity with web-based applications
  • Proficient in Excel (including Graphs, Tables, and Reports)
  • Experience in database management and report writing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a high energy level
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of competitor pricing and product offerings to ensure optimal rate positioning.
  • Ensure all distribution channels, including Booking Engine, GDS, OTA, and Wholesale, effectively support the hotel and maintain rate parity.
  • Collect and analyze critical data such as market research and distribution channel efficiency.
  • Design and implement rate structures and packages across all distribution channels.
  • Maintain comprehensive revenue reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for Revenue Management meetings.
  • Generate ad-hoc analytical reports as needed.
  • Implement yield management strategies as agreed upon in Revenue Management meetings.
  • Support the creation of exclusive sales initiatives.
  • Communicate all promotions and packages to GDS and third-party internet platforms.
