Job Summary

As a Front Desk Agent at the Canvas Dallas Hotel, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include registering guests, making and modifying reservations, and handling hotel operator and concierge duties.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and accurate.
  • Reservation Management: Make and modify reservations, ensuring accurate room assignments and rates.
  • Hotel Operations: Handle hotel operator and concierge duties, including answering guest inquiries and providing information on hotel services and facilities.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with fellow associates and other departments within the hotel, ensuring seamless operations and excellent guest service.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve and think critically, resolving guest issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the front desk team to ensure efficient and effective operations, maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Experience: Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Possess a positive and upbeat personality, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with hotel operations, including front desk procedures and hotel software.
