Job Summary

The Office Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the North Market Bridge Park office. This position requires a highly professional individual who can provide exceptional customer service, manage administrative tasks, and support the General Manager in various duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional tone and appearance while interacting with visitors, vendors, and merchants.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, securing the premises and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Facilitate the upkeep of office equipment, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring the office is well-stocked and organized.
  • Oversee conference room scheduling and maintain shared Google calendars.
  • Inspect the office and surrounding areas daily to ensure cleanliness and report any issues to the General Manager.
  • Assist the General Manager with maintaining files, generating reports, and supporting special projects.
  • Sell North Market merchandise and gift cards while accurately documenting transactions.
  • Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred but not required).
  • Valid driver's license.
Work Environment

The Office Assistant works at the North Market Bridge Park office, interacting with external guests, merchants, and vendors throughout the day. The hours for this position are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Punctuality is essential, and the Office Assistant should be flexible and readily available depending on the needs of the company.

Reporting Structure

The Office Assistant reports to the General Manager of the North Market Bridge Park.

Physical Requirements

The Office Assistant's physical condition must be sufficient for the consistent and successful completion of the responsibilities defined for this position. This position frequently requires standing, walking, sitting, reaching with hands and arms, and lifting up to twenty-five pounds. The Office Assistant must be able to drive occasionally during the course of work.
