Job Overview

Position Title: Label Production Specialist

Reports To: Label Team Supervisor

Direct Reports: N/A

FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Eligible for Overtime)

Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this role is to produce product labels utilizing the Avery label machinery. It is essential to ensure that all labels produced adhere to the required specifications set forth by the NSA and our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce product labels on Avery label machines according to NSA's and customers' specifications.
  • Retrieve all supplier-provided tags for orders.
  • Verify that all labeling is accurate for the sewing department.
  • Organize and file pick tickets promptly.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Compile weekly inventory reports.
  • Modify heat transfer quantities in TCM as necessary.
  • Serve as a backup for in-house heat transfers.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
  • Inspect incoming labels, logos, and patches for quality.

Training: On-the-job training will be provided, supplemented with external seminars and classes.

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications: High School diploma is required; additional education is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one year of data entry experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements: The candidate must be able to sit or stand for the duration of the workday.

Working Environment: This position is based in a personal workstation within a temperature-controlled plant setting.
