Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Float Pool team at UNC Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Assess patient needs and develop relationships with families to promote their ability to advocate for the patient and their own needs.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and share your expertise with colleagues to promote a culture of excellence.
  • Contribute to the development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities, promoting a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment for all.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
  • One (1) year of nursing experience
