Job Summary

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team in the PACU department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in the PACU department, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, identifying and reporting any concerns or issues that may impact patient care or staff well-being.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and respect within the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
