Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs.
  • Develop and implement effective patient education plans, promoting patient autonomy and self-care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
