Job Description

The Assistant Manager is a multifaceted role that combines business strategy, operations, creativity, and people management. This position is responsible for driving sales results by analyzing the business and providing exceptional customer service. The Assistant Manager oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing routines, and drives efficiency in all store processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Experience: Provide best-in-class customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Drives Sales: Analyze sales data and implement strategies to drive sales results and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • OMNI Channel Fulfillment: Ensure seamless integration of online and offline channels to provide a consistent customer experience.
  • Store Presentation and Sales Floor Supervision: Oversee the visual merchandising and sales floor presentation to ensure a compelling and engaging shopping environment.
  • Store & Stockroom Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, stockroom organization, and maintenance of store equipment.
  • Staffing, Scheduling, and Payroll Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, and manage staffing levels, scheduling, and payroll to ensure optimal store performance.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with store teams, district managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
  • Asset Protection: Implement and maintain asset protection strategies to prevent loss and protect company assets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role: A degree in business, retail, or a related field, or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
