Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager to oversee the Los Angeles territory. This role is pivotal in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities while enhancing relationships with existing clients. The successful candidate will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including end users, foodservice dealers, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Illinois Tool Works Inc. brands within the designated territory.
  • Analyze competitive challenges, industry trends, and business opportunities to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
  • Develop and sustain robust customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers.
  • Employ value-added selling techniques while executing market strategies and negotiation tactics to secure business.
  • Collaborate with the existing Sales Manager and Independent Representative Group to enhance sales performance.
  • Work cross-functionally with product lines to implement annual initiatives, including installation teams and service contractors.
  • Utilize CRM systems to create and manage transactional and project opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management and select dealers.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all product lines relevant to industry needs.
  • Exhibit expertise in specifications and applications of all equipment lines.
  • Manage and negotiate competitive bid projects with various distribution partners.
  • Plan and conduct regional training sessions on all product lines.
  • Ensure all activities align with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven sales track record, ideally with experience in food equipment and direct engagement with dealers or end users.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, complemented by professional presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
