About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapy CRT to join our team at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapy CRT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, including incentive breathing devices, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, and suctioning.
Responsibilities
- Perform general respiratory therapy to all ages in accordance with age-specific criteria.
- Evaluate diagnostic studies, including bedside spirometry, pulmonary mechanics, and blood gas analysis.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
- Accountable for delivering quality respiratory services and promoting a positive image of the department.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the state of Texas.
- 1 year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Current BLS Certification required.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.
