Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient respiratory conditions and develop effective treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Set up and operate respiratory equipment, administer prescribed medications, and provide patient education on respiratory care.
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes to ensure accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner accepted by the Texas Medical Board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Technical, clerical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills relevant to patient care.
- Graduation from an American Medical Association-approved school of respiratory therapy or equivalent.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
