Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in accordance with accepted respiratory therapy practices and established Departmental and Hospital standards of care.
  • Assess patient respiratory status and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Registered through the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Certification per unit specific competency (i.e. BLS, CPI, etc).
