We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Catholic Health Initiatives. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Responsibilities- Administer respiratory therapy modalities, including hand-held nebulizers, intrapulmonary percussive ventilation, and chest physical therapy.
- Perform ventilation therapies, including maintenance and management of life support systems.
- Conduct physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing, including ABG puncture, bronchoscopy assistance, and pulmonary function testing.
- Document patient care accurately and completely in the required departmental documentation system.
- Serve as a resource to certified respiratory therapists, preceptor for new employees, and respiratory care students.
- Completion of a respiratory care degree program.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of Texas (RCP).
- Based on location assignment, may also require BLS/ACLS/ and or PALS.
